MRT Ride For Three

If there is one good thing from the pregnancy that we can enjoy right away is having people offer seats to you when you are in an MRT.
It happened to us last week. A young lady, probably only 13 years old, told her mother that there was a pregnant woman on the MRT and she’s offering her seat to my wife.
It was a pleasant surprise for me. You can imagine how my wife reacted after she received such a kind and compassionate gesture.
“Am I getting bigger already?” She said.

My wife, being a woman, of course concerned about how her body was changing because of the pregnancy. And because she’s quite lean before the pregnancy, any small thing insider her tummy, such as the growing baby, will create a cute bump. So that’s why now my wife’s tummy is quite visible although she’s only on her 10th week. This is a great sign for me as it really shows that the baby is developing. My wife is also excited about this, well, except for the part where the one who needs to have her tummy enlarged is her, not me.
Apparently she forgets that I somehow gain more weight than she does. And that after 7 months she will get the baby out from her tummy, naturally, while there’s nothing inside my tummy that’s going to be removed.
