Crave Attack 4

My wife's craving took a drastic change for the past few days. No, past few weeks actually. She's been craving for sotomie, a noodle soup with a lot of things inside including intestines and other stuff that I could barely recognize.
The problem was, there’s no Indonesian food stall that sold this type of food and my wife demanded to have sotomie that was similar to the one sold in Jakarta. So that's one big task for me. And I didn't even know whether it was really a crave or my wife was just bored with the food in Singapore, which happened a lot and could be triggered by anything these days, such by diner time.

My friend suggested making my own sotomie. Well I guess I could try that, except that it's possibly going to give us another problem, such as food poisoning or my wife's throwing plates at me, because my approach to stove and other kitchen appliances was the same as my approach to nuclear bombs. Avoid at all cost to avoid any major tragedy.

But luckily, thanks to the Internet, I managed to find an Indonesian food stall that sometimes sold sotomie. So I went there a week ago and asked the owner to sms me when she made her sotomie. and, bless her, this morning she did. So I rushed there on lunch time and finally got the sotomie. Fiuh. I am saved. At least until my wife can think of other rare Indonesian food that is unavailable in Singapore. I think I'd cook.

Note: it was stall Kedai Ibu at Tanjung Pagar Complex on Keppel Road.
